Our FireShield Single Head Standpipe is made from high quality aluminium which has standard 2 1/2 Inch BSRT female inlet and a 2 1/2 Inch female outlet. Standpipes are used to obtain water from pressurised mains supply via underground hydrants. Standard outlet for underground valves is 2 1/2 Inch BSRT male. The pipe is freestanding and made from aluminium.
Please Note: The optional check valve stops water running back through the standpipe once it has passed through.
